Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ’s Tech Runway® will host its 2024 Maverick Reception on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at its site, 901 NW 35th St., Boca Raton campus. This energetic evening will celebrate a decade of regional economic impact through innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialization.
Interactive exhibits from groundbreaking startups, engaging presentations, and networking opportunities highlighting the university’s decade-long commitment to advancing entrepreneurship across South Florida will be featured. Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ Tech Runway, the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship, Florida Atlantic WAVE and the Office of Tech Development also will be recognized for their transformative impact in the creation of opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs throughout the region.
Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ and community leaders scheduled to speak include Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ President Stacy Volnick; Gregg Fields, Ph.D., Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ vice president for research; Daniel Gropper, Ph.D, dean of Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ’s College of Business; and Fran Nachlas, CRA chair and council member for the city of Boca Raton.
